Weekends, holidays and the judicial recess
The Constitutional Court applies Articles 92 and 93 of the Code of Civil Procedure: if the last day falls on a weekend or public holiday, the period ends on the next working day. The calculator takes weekends and national holidays into account; check the dates of the Ramadan and Sacrifice Feasts yourself. The judicial recess does not extend this period. Before the ECtHR, the period ends on the last day even if it is a weekend or public holiday.
The starting date depends on the case
The period may start from service of the decision, from learning of it in another way or, where no remedy is provided, from learning of the violation. Which date applies depends on the particular file.
