- Family Law
Contested and uncontested divorce, custody, maintenance, liquidation of the matrimonial property regime, jewellery claims and protection orders under Law No. 6284.

Constitutional Court and ECtHR applications
Our office also works on individual applications to the Turkish Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights concerning alleged violations of fundamental rights. The admissibility requirements, time limits and stages are explained on the relevant page, and the last day of the time limit can be found with the calculator.
The time limit for applying to the Constitutional Court is thirty days from the exhaustion of remedies or from knowledge of the decision; the European Court of Human Rights must be seized within four months of the final domestic decision. According to the Constitutional Court's statistics, 83.8% of applications decided in the first half of 2026 were declared inadmissible, which is why the preparation stage is decisive.
Files outside Balıkesir can be followed through a power of attorney and the National Judiciary Informatics System (UYAP); applications to the Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights do not require a visit to the office.
